Bluegreen Vacations started as a small business that purchased, sold, and renovated residential properties in Massachusetts in 1986. In 1994, Bluegreen Vacations began its vacation ownership journey with MountainLoft, a resort located in the Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg, Tennessee. How Bluegreen Vacations Works
When you purchase a Bluegreen Vacations timeshare, you’ll hold a deeded interest in the resort property. By holding a deeded interest in a Bluegreen resort, you become a Bluegreen Vacations club member. Bluegreen timeshares are perpetual, meaning you’ll be an owner for life, and can pass down your timeshare onto your children or grandchildren.
Bluegreen offers two types of timeshare products: fixed weeks and points. Whether you want to travel to the same resort during the same week every year or enjoy some flexibility with a points-based system, Bluegreen Vacations has something for everyone.
If you would rather have more flexibility when you vacation, Bluegreen timeshare points are perfect for you. When you purchase your deeded ownership interest, you can convert your ownership into points. Bluegreen points owners receive an annual allotment of points each year, and the amount you receive depends on multiple factors, such as your Home resort popularity, time of year, unit size, and type of unit. Larger units are given more points than smaller units. A popular Home resort during high season will also be given a higher point allotment.
