What is Abound by Marriott Vacations
With the new Abound Exchange Program, Marriott Vacation Club owners and Vistana owners have more destinations and more choices than ever before.

Abound is an internal exchange program created by the Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation to replace the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations Exchange Program. Owners no longer have to exchange with Interval International to enjoy Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club and Marriott Vacation Club resorts.
With over 90 luxurious vacation villa resorts and city properties worldwide, access to more than 8,000 Marriott Bonvoy hotels, 2,000 vacation homes, and 2,000 exclusive experiences like cruises, guided tours, culinary adventures, as well as outdoor expeditions, you’ll have endless options to choose from. Plus, you can continue to exchange through Interval International if you want even more travel opportunities.
There are no additional costs for owners when using the Abound program.
Deed Weeks vs. Club Points
If you are thinking about buying a Marriott timeshare resale or already own a resale, it’s important to understand the eligibility criteria for the Marriott Vacation Club Abound.
If your week was enrolled in the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations Exchange Program, then you will be eligible to join Abound. However, you would not be eligible to enroll in the Marriott Abound if you buy a Marriott Vacation Club week now or if you purchased after June 20, 2010.
On the other hand, if you buy a points-based Marriott timeshare, formerly known as Destinations Club points or trust points, you will automatically be opted-in to join the Abound program regardless of whether you buy directly from Marriott or a resale.
