Seller Notes:Fixed Week: 28 (Red Season) Next use: 2025 Maintenance fees 2023: $1,694.76 *Closing costs and transfer fees are to be paid by the buyer* *Buyer to pay maintenance fees for first year of usage* Per the owner: This unit has a water view. We can see the dolphins right from our deck! Fireworks barge is right in front of our view, providing an amazing show on Tuesday nights in the summer. We purchased at Harbor Point after having booked a trip there using Redweek. We enjoyed our stay so much that when this unit became available, we submitted our offer. We love the view of Broad Creek, and we enjoy just watching the dolphins playing in the water from our balcony. We also have a front and center view of the Tuesday night fireworks. This resort is small and quiet but lacking for nothing. We especially enjoy the quiet pool and the outdoor pavilion area. I like to practice yoga outside in the sun, or in the evening during sunset. It’s also an easy walk to Shelter Cove for the restaurants, shops and happy hours. Where else can you stay in Hilton Head in July for such a great price? That’s why we purchased at Marriott Harbour Point. The reason we are selling is that we purchased a place in Hilton Head and no longer need a July week.

More information on our formula...
Hotels usually sleep 2 adults per room, whereas the average timeshare units offer multiple private bedrooms, sleeper sofas and sometimes even bunk beds - adding value not calculated here. Timeshare properties are condo style units that contain all of the comforts of home... and then some!
Hotel total cost includes a 10% hotel tax whereas the average U.S. hotel tax is currently around 13.4%.
Timeshare total cost includes an increase in maintenance dues each year of 3%, as well as an estimated $1,000 in closing and transfer costs. These are estimated and will vary by state, county and resort.
Total savings does not take into consideration the added benefit of a timeshare unit having a spacious living room, washer and dryer, dining room and full kitchen, all of which add value and potential savings when you have the option to do your own laundry and enjoy a home cooked meal instead of dining out.
